They have recorded two albums with the dutch label Challenge, Finding A Way (2010) and Jalkan Bazz (2012).

Following the band leader’s move to France in 2014, the band has produced a third album and has been joined by saxophonist/clarinetist Christophe Panzani , who’s credentials include the Carla Bley Band.

For their upcoming album they are joined by guitarist Federico Casagrande, the appraised Italian guitar wizard who’s collaborations, among many, include Enrico Pieranuzzi.

with Hugo Corbin Quartet

This young band takes regard of no musical borders. Their diverse european background (Balkans, Scandinavia) blends with their Jazz background and electronic music fascination to create a unique sound. The have won the Dutch Jazz Competition, the Holland Casino Jazz&Pop Award, have played at the North Sea Jazz Festival (2008, 2009, 2010) a.o., as well as taken part in the Young VIPs tour 2009. Also they have performed at festivals and venues in Brazil, Belgium, Croatia, China, France, Greece, Germany, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia and Thailand with great success. From Downbeat magazine: “they twist and tweak conventions, as might be expected from a band whose new album is called Jalkan Bazz”

NEDERLANDS

Vanuit Downbeat magazine: “they twist and tweak conventions, as might be expected from a band whose new album is called Jalkan Bazz”
